Students who are elected to the Triway National Honor Society have an opportunity to serve their school and community while enhancing their leadership skills. Membership is a privilege. Students must meet all guidelines before being eligible for membership. A GPA requirement makes a student eligible and membership is determined through an application process and how students have met the four tenets of Sholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character as demonstrated while at Triway High School. Then after a careful review by vote of a staff advisory committee, students are inducted into the Triway chapter.
Application Process
NHS membership requirements (adopted 2024)
Minimum cumulative GPA -
Sophomores 3.6
Juniors 3.4
Seniors 3.2
Eligible students will be contacted via Parent Square. Applications will be accepted from eligible students for a given time period. Students must electronically submit and provide examples of extracurricular activities, leadership, community service with a reference email or phone number, and a written character statement. Completed applications will be scored and voted upon by the entire staff and then approved by a faculty council. Eligibility does not guarantee admission. Please read and complete the application carefully and thoroughly.
